As a single woman, there is always a little apprehension when having to find someone to do work for you in a rural area. There is always a question in the back of your mind, wondering if they will allow their personal prejudices get in the way of doing the job properly. I can honestly say, that working with Bruce & Joanne, this was NOT an issue. They were professional, courteous & they treated as a home buyer, nothing more, nothing less. It’s very obvious that they work hard to provide the best inspection possible.
After the initial phone call to schedule the appointment, they stayed in communication with me, so I’d know what to expect. Upon arrival at the home, they got to work immediately. They work well as a team & if need be they make sure to bring help along. They took the time to answer any questions I had during the inspection, as well pointing out and explaining any issues they found along the way. By the end of our first inspection, I felt like I was with family. Bruce took the time to explain, what to expect once I received the formal report.
Not only did the formal report provide issues found, but it also included recommendations on how to fix the issues. When I had questions about the report, Bruce & Joanne would take the time to listen to my concerns & explain why they made the recommendations that they made. I ended not purchasing the initial house, but have used Wildcat Inspection for the current house I’m considering & will continue to use Wildcat Inspection, until I find my home. Google Client Review: “I HIGHLY recommend Wildcat Inspections! Bruce and Joanne are a husband and wife team. I hired them to do a buyer’s inspection on a house we are in the process of purchasing. I had called around to several places, looking for someone not just to inspect the house, but also the sewer and well, as it is in the country. Wildcat inspections had the best pricing, but I was a little worried that there were no reviews. Oh my goodness, am I glad I hired them!! They were able to do everything and were so incredibly thorough! They have experience in the construction industry, so they know more than most, and they took their time, combing through every detail!
Not only did they show us safety and code issues, but things we might want to know about the house down the line. The report was very detailed and comprehensive, but also easy to read with pictures detailing all of it, plus, they sat and educated me on all kinds of things to know as a new homeowner.
They also have a huge resource of information on their website to learn about how to take care of your house and different issues that might occur. I would hire them again in an instant! So glad I didn’t go with someone else!!”

They were very thorough and afterwards went over everything with me and even showed images of problem areas. I was outbid for that home but once I found a different one, he was the first person I called. Thankfully, He was just as thorough and patient with me. He didn’t talk over or at me, which is what I experienced in other aspects of female home buying. Instead, He sat and talked with me until I fully understood it all. Also, He suggested areas that needed immediate improvement, along with other areas that could be fixed over time.

Spectora Client Review: “I needed an inspection done on a well and septic system on a home I was purchasing. I had never had a well or a septic system before and Bruce and JoAnn Robbins took some time to explain to me how things worked and some things I should be aware of. The reports were thorough and easy to understand.
When the lender required that the findings on the septic system be repaired and a follow-up inspection be done, Bruce and JoAnn were very accommodating and fit me into their schedule last-minute to verify the deficiencies had been corrected. They then went a step beyond and suggested to the lender a way of verifying the findings were corrected that saved me a lot of money when the lender agreed to the suggestion. They were great throughout the entire process! Highly recommend!”
